Had a very good experience here with my kid. The food was served fast and the service is just awesome. Prices are affordable.

We were recommended this place, and we were completely dissapointed. We waited forever for someone to come by to take our order. Staff never seemed to be around. Every single dish we ordered took ages to come out. We spent two hours there. Every dish was worst then the one before. We were unable to swallow anything. Food quality was not worth the price!!!! Extremely low food quality

Rather disappointing antipastis and main courses..Heard good things and it was recommended.We shared calamari, spicy sausage and bruschetta...& Steak, chicken parmigiana, salmon and veg pasta..

This is a great family run restaurant. It has a nice intimate feel, however don't go here if you're in a rush as the service can take a while sometimes.

Great food, great service.

It was my husband’s BDay, he picked this restaurant. My husband ordered Calamari which was very chewy, and I order the balsamic chicken which tasted old and felt reheated. The veal was ok and tomatoes on the brochettes didn’t taste fresh. Service was not professional for fine dining and was super casual. We defiantly won’t go back.

I had a fantastic time at Il Chianti with my girlfriend. The food was absolutely delicious... And I'm picky. I had the veal smothered in mushroom with potatoes and vegetables and it was incredibly flavourful. My girlfriend had the fettuccine with added chicken breast and loved it. Service was just as good as the food. I recommend it.

Great atmosphere. AMAZING FOOD, if you're looking for an amazing Italian food experience, this is the place. I can't speak to its authenticity, the only food I've had in Italy was pretty terrible. The food this place served was amazing, the steak was just so perfectly flavoured. I highly recommend

Yummy Italian food, good decor, right price, altogether very nice restaurant. Me and my husband always prefer this restaurant whenever go for Italian. It's in Ne 20th Avenue and Edmonton trail, so pretty far from my place. But anyhow, worth to go there

Great for date night! Lovely restaurant with clean, bright, modern decor with a fresh gerber daisy on every table. Had escargot, veal and beef carpaccio. Wonderful flavour with all dishes. Escargot was best with their fresh baked buns to soak up the cheesy goodness. Red house wine was very nice. Servers were attentive and efficient. The veal meat was a little dry bit the sauce and prefect veggies made up for that. I'll be back to try another entree for sure!

Been going there for years. At least once every 3 months. They make you feel like family. I haven't ordered off the menu ever. Always have the special. Victoria is the owners daughter, always makes the evening or lunch.

The service was terrible. We had to practically chase the waiter/the manager around to get more drinks, because they took our glasses away and didn’t bother to ask if we needed more to drink; they weren’t paying attention to our table at all at any point of our visit. And if this wasn’t bad enough, around closing time, who we believe to be the manager walked by our table and asked with a very sarcastic tone “are you ladies planning on sleeping here tonight?” and kept walking. If they wanted us to leave she could have politely say “sorry ladies but we’re about to close pretty soon”. This would have been enough; there was no need for the snarky rude comment. Not going back for sure.

I've been to Il Chianti a couple times and each time has been so amazing! I recently just went to celebrate my birthday with close friends and we had such a great experience. The food was spectacular and service was fantastic! The staff even went above and beyond to make my night special by bringing out a chocolate cheesecake with a sparkler and sang happy birthday to me! I love this place and I would definitely recommend coming here for a memorable experience with great food and great service.

This is without a doubt the loveliest and most authentic Italian restaurant in the City. Fresh, spotless with it's white tablecloths and silverware compliments the food which is second to none anywhere. Fresh home made Pastas and other dishes that are mouth watering. This is a family owned business and from the moment you walk in you will be made to feel welcome. It is also a very romantic restaurant if you are looking for that special table for two.

Our 1st time, and it was wonderful! The sevice was great and the food was sooooo good!! The bruschetta was to die for, and the clam linguine in white wine sauce was exactly what I was craving for, and they hit it spot on. We'll definitely be going back there.

The service was terrific. The atmosphere very pleasant. The food was appetizing. The price is higher than the standard franchised restaurants (such as Olive Garden) I recommend this place as an occasional visit for special events (birthdays, anniversaries,, etc.)

Definitely, without a doubt, one of my favorite places to now eat Italian food! Great food and decent prices for what you receive. Literally stumbled on it one time last year and I think it has also become our family get together restaurant with extended family as well. Enjoy, and if this review helped make your decision to go, I think you will be very happy.

The food was absolutely amazing, we were having a great time, there was a big party at the restaurant still drinking and having a good time, and my sister, my friend and I were drinking our coffees and having a fun conversation when the manager came up to us and very rudely asked: “are you ladies going to sleep here tonight?”, and walked away. That moment ruined our entire evening, I believe a simple: “ladies we are getting ready to close” would have sufficed. If I ever come back I will for sure request a different waiter/manager.

Service was exceptional. Food was really really good. Atmosphere was elegant. Portions were a perfect size. The warm bread with butter was a nice start to the meal. The staff were gracious and allowed us time to visit before ordering. They didn't rush us. We had a reservation and were seated immediately upon entering the restaurant. I had a glass of house red wine. It was nice with the pasta. I definitely recommend checking this restaurant out for a lovely evening out.

Would have liked to eaten here but their listed phone number isn't in service so I couldn't make a reservation for a large group. Speaks poorly to management that you can't keep your website updated, went somewhere else with an active phone line instead.

This is the place you should take your mom for dinner! But it isn’t dated inside - it’s elegant, modern Italian. Classic dishes and the service is excellent.
